Wait for your word
“Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place”
Psalms 66:12 KJV
In the early hours of February 14, 2019, the Spirit of Lord burned the above scripture into my heart during my quiet time. It was a very vivid experience that will stay with me for the rest of time. The above scripture came alive such that, it was as though I never read or heard it before.
With that word came a renewed hope that was greatly needed at the time. It reached deep down my soul and somehow brought rest and tranquility to my being and space.
Prior to that morning, we had been in the midst of a prolonged and intense battle. Although I knew the promises of God concerning my destiny and a few other bible references that address the situation we were going through, but this word was different when it hit my spirit. Suddenly, I realised it was the word I had been waiting for without knowing it.
Before long we started experiencing victory.
The truth is that when the word that you so much needs comes, you will know it straightaway.
For the entrance of His word gives light and brings understanding to the simple (Psalm 119: 130). A word from God decides your battles. A problem remains a problem until God has spoken. Once God gives you a word over a matter, you can go to sleep. The word from the Lord guarantees your harvest and secures your future.
I pray for everyone reading this post that God will give you a word of comfort, a word of direction, a word of victory, a word of breakthrough and an answer of peace will change your current situation. Your word will come and nothing will hinder or delay it any further.
God is too fatherly to leave you in a dark and tight place. He will bring you out of the dark and dank pit into your wealthy place. Don’t give up. Keep trusting in God. Continue in prayers, give yourself to the word and exercise your spirit therein. May the Lord God Jehovah give you the grace to wait until your change comes.
